How I used UX Research to understand the difficulties people face in dieting and following a diet and create a solution through a digital product

This article is complementary to the EasyDiet case

Qualitative researh

The survey was carried out after the quantitative survey, and the interviewees were chosen from among those who has responded to the first survey.

Interviewees: 5 gym users who have difficult following a diet. I understand that a large sample would be correct, but for reasons of time and personals issues, I decided to continue the analysis with this sample.

Research objectives:

To understand:

  • Where people follow up with a nutritionist or not and why
  • If they diet and pre-workout and where they research
  • What they do at the gym, the exercises they do
  • If they research the exercises and where they research

Research script:

  1. How long have you been dieting?
  2. Where do you get the diet you follow?
  3. Why don’t you see a nutritionist?
  4. Why do you go to a private nutritionist?
  5. How often do you go to the nutritionist?
  6. What is pre-workout preparation like, where do you research?
  7. Where do you research the diet, if at all?

The conclusions are in the main article, link bellow.
