I recently wrote a post on productivity hacks that included a few quotes.

It wasn’t until later that it hit me that all of the quotes I had included were from men.

But what do the women have to say about productivity?

I was curious.

So I went and compiled 15 things we can learn from some pretty amazing women — hard-won lessons from accomplished female CEOs, writers, artists, and more.

What I found was that these aren’t so much hacks so to speak, but more insightful tips and strategies on how to live a productive life and the fullest versions of ourselves.

(And while they might be from women, the tips aren’t just for women…)

We can take these lessons and keep them in our back pocket to help us stay productive amidst the world’s shiny distractions (not limited to the dark hole that is the internet)…

“I’ve accepted my procrastination as part of who I am. As such, I do designate days where I allow time for procrastination.” — Issa Rae
