As a Higher Education Professional in California, McGowan has implemented numerous programs and initiatives. In her community college leadership, she has contributed to various research, publications and presentations as well.

Community Work & Nonprofits

In her free time, Joumana McGowan translates her Community College Leadership skills to the nonprofit and volunteer community. She is particularly passionate about supporting Alzheimer’s and Dementia Research, as well as spreading awareness about Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI).
