Take a second and think about your local grocery store. Think about the thousands of products and companies offering you food.

Now I want you to ask yourself how many of them care about feeding you real, delicious, better-for-you food. How many of the care about more than profits?

The truth is a lot of companies care more about their bottom line than your nutrition and the preservation of the world.

We’re not one of those companies.

At Journey Foods, we’re on, well, a journey. A journey to not only feed you well, but to feed the world in a sustainable and affordable way. Given the impending food crisis in the world, we have decided to do our part by providing nutritious products, like our Journey Bites.

Something we talk about a lot is our global population, but that’s because it’s really important to think about what that means for the future of food. By 2050, there will be an estimated 9 billion people on this planet. That’s a lot.

There are over 200,000 edible plant species. That’s also a lot. However, but most humans only routinely consume 200 of them. That’s definitely not a lot. Even worse? Over 90% of our planet’s natural, plant-based snacks are primed for extinction.

Nine billion people can’t survive on the same 200 plants, and we know that because the 7.5 billion people already on it haven’t been able to do that.

That’s why there’s $600 Billion nutrient access problem.

So, when Journey Foods were created, we thought about these huge problems. And then we thought about all the other companies who don’t seem to care about them or about feeding you well. The next step: creating Journey Bites, convenient snacks made from sustainably sourced ingredients at a good price for the consumer.

Can you name all these fruits?

It would be easier for us to not care.

It would be easier for us to get cheaper, artificial ingredients instead of the natural goodness of our baobab from Africa, California strawberries, cayenne from renowned Hatch Valley New Mexico, and chia from Wisconsin. We’d make more money if we weren’t focused on keeping our products affordable for the average person. But we just can’t do that.

We’re on a mission to feed the world.

Not in the easiest way, not in the cheapest way, but in the best way. We’re on a mission to feed the world in a way that protects the nature that gives us our food and delivers the best nutrition to the billions of people who need it. That’s our ultimate journey at Journey Foods, and we hope you’ll join us on it.
