You Have to Figure it Out
If you’re here, you know deep down inside you have to figure it out. It doesn’t matter what “it” is. You clicked on this post for a reason. You know that if you don’t figure it out — you’re always going to be stuck in the same town, with the same job, the same people, and the same bullshit.
You feel like you’re supposed to be somewhere else — but you haven’t ‘figured’ it out yet.
You’ve thought about it and thought about it, but you still haven’t figured it out. You’ve read book after book, but you still haven’t figured it out. You’ve tried idea after idea, but you haven’t figured it out.
You’re still in the same place you were yesterday.
You imagine yourself someplace else — someplace nice, but that seems so far away. A pipedream.
So ask yourself, what did you do to move the ball forward today?
“I watched TV and messed around and did nothing,” is not the right answer and you know it.
You have to figure it out or you’ll always look back at the past and say, “Man, those were some of the greatest years of my life. I can’t top that.”
If you believe you are going someplace and if you believe you will figure it out here’s what your mindset should be: “Man, those were some of the greatest years of my life, but the BEST is yet to come.”
