Excuses

I haven’t written for so long.

I have a lot of excuses for myself for not writing. And since a to-do-list is too basic, here are my excuses in case we haven’t heard enough of those already on a daily basis.

  1. My parents were visiting. Now if you’re living at least 10 hour of plane ride away from your family, you would understand when I say; every minute of your life aside from your job or your studies will be fully dedicated to them once they’re in town.
  2. I had exams, no two presentations for the two biggest projects of my MBA. That all went a little bit shit. I was stressed and angry at everyone in my family while we were on vacation. I even lost a good girlfriend by the end of it. Grad school is not so different from high school it turns out.
  3. I was lazy,
  4. stuck,
  5. and uninspired.
  6. Another break up happened, this time with a guy, for the most millennial reason possible. On this occasion, I want to once again express my gratitude towards my family and homies for being the best support system I could ever ask for. They’ve always been there every time shit goes down, even though most of them are not physically here with me.
  7. Also, I was scared of this slowly turning into my diary rather than some smartly written and profoundly expressive blog, that would some how make a mark in the sea of talented writers and social media influencers. But nah fuck that I write what I can for now.

Aside from that, the only reason I am writing right now is boredom. Between letting my colleague knows I watch some weird Youtube videos, revising, getting on Tinder, I decided this should be the activity worthy of my morning coffee.

Glad to talk to you again. And ‘till next time. ❤

Still figuring shit out.
