How We Broke Democracy (But Not in the Way You Think)

Very well thought out article! Thank you Tobias. I think it might help to shut our computers down and have discussions on a face to face basis. But more important perhaps is to take most of what is thrown at us with a grain of salt. Fact checking is essential before we pass any information on. Parents and teachers must teach critical thinking. Children are very vulnerable.

Getting the facts is one thing. But in this 2016 election facts did not matter for a great many people. The facts were staring the people in the face on a daily basis. Character should count. It should be the number one concern. My first reaction to the outcome of this election was: Oh my God! America! What have you done?
