A New Year Manifesto

In 2014, I will actively love myself.

I will nurture the friendships I have, while also giving myself the permission to open up to new ones.

I will not remain neutral, silent, or passive.

I will strictly regulate what I put in and on my body.

I will not allow myself to see time reading, writing, or being creative as wasted time.

I will open myself to criticism.

I will prepare for the future, but

I will not allow the possibilities of the future to take away from the opportunities of the present.

I will allow myself to fuck up.

In 2014, I will actively love myself.
