“… an architecture that, with the aid of robotics and artificial intelligence, might one day become truly alive and responsive to environmental forces and human needs as well as desire.”

Designed by Peter Cook and Colin Fournier, the Kunsthaus Graz is an art museum in Graz, Austria. The “quintessential blob building” was built in 2003 and is seemingly out of place in comparison to its surroundings.

With the inclusion of the BIX light installations and nodules throughout its structure, the building takes a step past typical architecture to introduce an organic surface with a “new type of intelligent skin capable of displaying information and relating interactively with users.”

How cool to make the art museum building to be a piece of art itself!!
