Slack, Please Don’t Enlarge Single Emoji Messages Mandatorily
Large emoji and regular emoji are semantically different.
Emojis, by etymology and origination, 絵文字, are particular iconographic characters conveying certain semantic meanings. Most importantly, they are text.
Emojis are different from alphabets like ASCII, Latin, Greek, Hebrew and Cyrillic, and from ideographs like Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, and Hangul. But they are text. They are not inserted images or emoticons. They are text.
Text. Text. Text!
Compare to decorative use and text use of Latin characters, Emoji characters can be used in both ways. If a single Emoji character message can be automatically enlarged, a single Latin character message can be automatically enlarged and capitalized, too.

Note: Alphabet: A set of certain characters organized in a certain order.
