MUST-VISIT THEME PARK: LOVE LAND
Jeju Love Land is a theme sculpture park based on sensuality and eroticism.
Twenty artists, mainly graduates of top art school Hongik University, helped open it in November 2004. It was the first such museum in Korea at that time. Jeju Love Land houses a glass-dome restaurant, an outdoor café, an art shop, and various works which visitors can touch.
Jeju Love Land is an attractive place where art and eroticism meet in cool, fun, humorous styles.
Walk inside the dome-shaped gallery and art shop to buy unique things that are both erotic and funny.
Some of the walls have these beautiful heart shapes and some of them even have countries’ flags painted on them. I’ll be posting a photo of our trip to Jeju soon, we found a heart shape with the Philippine flag painted on it. So watch out for it!
One of the most beautiful pieces there was this lady with an erotic pose. There were actually two versions of this. One was painted in gold and was quite bigger than the other. The smaller one was painted in silver.
“Hills” were decorated with teats to resemble breasts. You won’t actually notice them at first glance.
