Day 1 Closing

We had “try! Swift Tokyo 2018” in Tokyo, Japan on March 1st — 3rd. This year, I was a main organizer unlike last year. Thanks to everyone, “try! Swift Tokyo 2018” ended successfully.

I was speaking at the Day 1 opening. I thought everyone wanted to hear the talks from amazing speakers, so I made my talk simple.

Peer Labs

Thanks

During the conference, the workshops, and the peer labs, a lot of people helped me at all time — not only organizers but also volunteers, attendees, sponsors, speakers, and workshops instructors.

To attendees

This year, we had 800 attendees— audience, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers. They were from 30 countries across the world. It was a worldwide conference.

I’m glad to hear that everyone has enjoyed try! Swift. I’d like you to look forward to next time.

Day 2 After Party

To speakers

I have a lot of respects for all speakers. Their talks were for 20 minutes, but they took a long time to construct their amazing talks before the conference. And, most of them came from overseas. They had been tired and jet-lagged. But, their talks and behavior were great.

During the conference, I worked as an orgaizer, so I couldn’t talk with them. I’d like to express my appreciation.

Day 2 Closing

To workshop instructors

I also have a lot of respects for all workshop instructors. They gave us great opportunities to find pleasures in working with each other.

To sponsors

We couldn’t have done it without their supports. They provided us not just the sponsorship fees but also their novelties and exhibiting their booths. I think they have worked hard to prepare them for the conference.

Especially, I’m really grateful to LINE, DeNA, and Casareal for their big support for the workshops and the peer labs.

Day 1

To photographers

@qmihara and @moshisora990 had taken amazing photos during the conference, the workshops, and peer labs. I think it has been really hard to keep shooting. Thanks to them, we can see the amazing photos now.

To other organizers and volunteers

As mentioned above, I was a main organizer this year. We started the preparation for “try! Swift Tokyo 2018” in the fall of 2017. Mainly, I had negotiated with the sponsors. Other organizers and volunteers worked really hard to make “try! Swift Tokyo 2018” successfully. I couldn’t have done this alone. I wish I could introduce all organizers and volunteers here.

After Party

Finally

We could get new friend here. And, we might see them again at other conferences around the world.

The other day, Apple made an announcement about WWDC18. If you and I win the lottery, let’s meet there!

Thanks a lot.
