In the Biology Dept. at the University of Minnesota Duluth, we have maintained (and are expanding) our collections, still teach organismal courses (like entomology, ichthyology, and the rest), and have a Natural History Minor (https://onestop2.umn.edu//pcas/viewCatalogProgram.do?programID=3789&strm=1159&campus=UMNDL). Not all is lost.
