#37 In the note, Mieville says it’s a 1936 object made by Leonor Fini. An object, not a book. I’ve found something that could fit with that description: a “memories’ draw” made by Leonor Fini, with conchs, shells and sea stones (maybe barnacles, who knows) that Salvador Dali was picking up, and sending to her, at Cadaqués beach: http://joyas-escultura.blogspot.com.es/2013/05/cajon-de-la-memoria.html
Leonor Fin’s draw is number 21. It’s in spanish, buy maybe you can translate it.
