Great perspective. Spoken words are a code of Frequency/Wavelength/Velocity pushed through the atmosphere, received and decoded by a piece of organic hardware called an ear. There is no literal "sound," just a code of info pushed through the atmosphere and a receiver (reflection measuring device). We are the light that is reflected. The world has no sound, only ears.
