It is really rather obvious. Medium is about promoting flashy articles which are the equivalent of the intellectual tabloid, such as "Stop listening to music, it will change your life", and others. It is not about genuine critique.

Because when you get down to it, few people want to read a genuine critique of society, because even the foundation that makes Medium possible for example is that which must be destroyed. People just want to live their lives and consume, and that is why what I say will not become too popular, ever.

Personally, I don't care about that. I have a message and people can listen or not if they wish. As long as I can gather like minds to effect change, then what the masses read or not is irrelevant.
