The concern I have with back loaded vesting is that it needs to be coupled with some sort of provision against termination for no cause at 3 years as well as protecxtion in the event of change of control. Without that I’d heavily discount the value becasue some spreadsheet jocky is going to decide they can save millions by terminating people at year 3 if they are at will employees.
Wordpress has it’s niche, it fits between the likes of blogger and medium and full blown custom CMS platforms. In other words you bought an SUV, it’s bigger than a hatchback and smaller than a semi truck. If you put lots of aftermatket extras on it you might break it. That’s not the fault of Wordpress it’s poor choice on the part of the user.
