I Just Want a Music App as Simple as Pandora

Every time when you browser your music library you get confused. Which song is trend right now? Which song should I listen right now? I asked so many questions to myself when the time I logged in Apple Music, Spotify or Google Music.

I don’t know how to choose songs, but I have a taste. If that music hit me emotionally, I will listen. I don’t care who sang or write. For me, most importantly is that I’d love to listen.

Finding the music you like is frustrating, I just need a service as simple as Pandora, and let algorithm to figure out the next song I should listen.

Fortunately, we have an service in China, It’s called Douban FM. It’s an online radio service and based on your preference to recommend songs. I love the idea that algorithm can know your interests. All I need is open the website and start to listen. If I like that music, just give a heart; if I hate that music, just throw it in trash. More interaction I made more accuracy the recommendation got.

Did I miss the power for choosing the song I want to listen? Yes, I do. But really, do you need that? Maybe not.

I just need a service that know my interests and every time I open it, it will play the very song I want to hear.
