Hmm…I was born and raised a catholic, but my dad was a bartender, so that there was always a part of me that was never hypnotized from it. If you really listen to what he says, I think Jesus tried to warn us about religion. I think religion, art, and science all are attempts by feeble human beings to capture truth, but none will quite admit they don’t have the whole truth. I am with you, though, that we need to give power to our own logic, our own truth. What anyone else finds true doesn’t really matter. We are responsible for ourselves, and if we allow others to do our thinking for us…who is to blame?
