Once I read a book from a Brazilian social scientist and philosopher, Caio Prado Jr., who told about social and political formation of scientists. He pointed some scientists — some of then famous — opinions about politics, including Einstein. Disastrous !!.

I think that this is a matter of great importance, the social and political formation of scientists. Social sciences and history are matters of minor — if not none — importance in natural sciences and technology schools. In general, physicists,, chemists, engineers have a poor formation on social and politic sciences. And the result is this.
