Sherry is often one of these not well understood and very much underestimated ingredients in a great drink. Cognac on the other hand, is often one of this far overpriced ingredients. But, especially when it comes to classic cocktails, this both ingredients, you will fall in love with.
At Le Lion we love them both. And somehow over the year 2015 the senior bartenders at Le Lion worked out a great drink, which I really enjoy. ITs all about the ingredients here. Different Sherry and Cognac will give a totally different drink. Try to find one of these Sherry bottles. Very good stuff !
Coloroso
- Recipe
- 50 ml William & Humbert Dry Sack Oloroso Especial 15 years
- 20 ml Park XO Cognac
- 20 ml Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao Triple Sec
- 20 ml fresh lime juice
- Bar spoon simple sirup (sugar to taste)
- Preparation
- shake
- strain
- serve in Cocktail Glass
