Great article. Code switching is totally relatable to me. As a Korean-American that grew up in the suburbs, I speak English without a trace of an accent. However, whenever I am around other Koreans or hanging out in Koreatown in LA, my English automatically switches to “Konglish” or English with a Korean twang. Like you mentioned, it’s not something I have to think about doing. I just do it.
