Dry cough results from pure asthma management or irritants. Poor lifestyle, smoking, increased pollution are some of the significant factors contributing to a dry cough as well. While maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle is necessary, you should promptly attend your dry cough rather than neglecting it.

Here are some natural home treatment methods to try:

Raw Organic Honey

The usage of Honey dated back to the 8000 century in the rock paintings in Valencia, Spain. Most store-bought honey includes a high quantity of fructose or sugar, making them profoundly unhealthy. Your best bet would be buying raw and uncooked honey. Honey is an excellent source of nutrients that fight harmful infections in the body, provided you purchase them from a reliable source.

For faster results, you can add a pinch of black pepper powder with one teaspoon of honey and consume it 3–4 times a day.

Use steam therapy:

Add some peppermint oil or clove in a large bowl of water and inhale the smoke coming out of it. The steam helps in cleansing the sinus and loosening the phlegm. The best way for steaming is to bow down your head closer to the steam by covering the head with a towel.

Make a turmeric drink

Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder with one spoon of carom seeds and add 2 cups of water. Boil the water till it reaches half the amount. For taste, you can add some honey to it.

Ginger & honey drunk

Cut a thumb size ginger into chunks, and boil it with 4 cups of water. Add honey to taste and drink it whenever you feel like coughing. Ginger is known for its antiviral properties, combine them with honey and tea for a healthy and comforting drink.
