We persistently stand in the line of fire from everything that we did in the past and its consequences in the future and the only thing that can save us is a reasonable, well minded society. And we aren’t getting anywhere close to that with the current pool teachers.

I agree with a lot of what you say…but as a teacher, I would ask: how do you fix it? Sitting back and saying, “things are bad-they should be better” doesn’t really move any conversation forward. Do you have any concrete suggestions?
