Many larger design teams now have dedicated UX writers, but every company calls them something different. You might see them being called UX writers, product writers, content designers, content strategists, copywriters, and so on.
Here’s a list of some of the larger tech companies that have dedicated UX/product writers, but I’m sure there are a LOT more out there:
Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Airbnb, Shopify, Intuit, IBM, Adobe, Pinterest, Slack, Uber, Lyft, Evernote, Atlassian, GoPro, Dropbox…the list just goes on and on.
More and more companies are also starting to hire their first dedicated UX writers, like Stripe, InVision, etc.
It’s an interesting time to be a writer.
