Using design to prevent people from sharing stuff they didn’t read

Just saying — but I wonder who’d like to design a sharing pattern that’d limit the amount of shares.

From a publisher / marketing perspective, not only does it not solve anything, but you’ve created friction where they want is less of it.

This could only solve an issue for people following you on social.

And even there, from a follower perspective, does it even matter for them if you’ve read what you shared? And what can they do if you didn’t read it?

Maybe design a way for people who care to check easily if you’ve read it or to force you into reading it…
