The thing is, starting from absolute zero, no followers and no network, you must get your stuff in front of anyone and as many people as you can.

Get into a publication. Also, headlines do matter. Take the time to craft a headline. Through trial and error and looking at your stats— you will see which headlines work and which don’t.

That WILL NOT get you over. That’s a given - a pre-requisite. Write great but you must get read by some initial group of people to give it any chance of catching on.

The crappy content by the person with the huge following will beat your “brilliant, but no-followers” stuff. Get it read.
