RECeption of Nigh(t)

The world has, for ever and always,

had the light fall;

with eyes, pen, or plain perception

all have experienced what comes with the setting of the sun.

The world turns us

inside -

out;

So I might mistake

these lies

for something

along certain lines,

instead of just settling,

breathing,

and the offering,

to the night.
