HIEA112 1/4/2022 My experience with Japan is very limited and mostly from videos and news articles online. I had a connecting flight which landed in Japan and it was only 2 hours so I did not leave the airport. Looking outside at the views of Japan I remember it being very green and with gentle rolling hills. The air seemed fresher and the sky was a perfect blue with no clouds. After that flight I developed a hobby of watching some YouTube videos on Japanese people and their everyday hobbies. I am familiar with some of the modern practices and lifestyles of Japan. History is where I struggle however, I know virtually nothing about Japanese history. I hope this class dives into the rich history of Japan through learning about all walks of life and classes that existed.
