Product Design: The days of Craigslist are gone

I found this article when hunting down the professional world’s opinion of Craigslist. In my own research, I’m finding that Craigslist doesn’t exactly fail a vast majority of its users. Heuristically, it passes in flying colors. It gets the job done and it does so with minimal effort. Not a soul on the planet has been able to dethrone the platform, let alone make a dent in its traffic in any meaningful way.

It’s been a couple years since you wrote this article — with several “Craigslist killers” now sustaining themselves outside of Y Combinator, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on whether Craigslist would still be considered dead and whether you feel that the user is still left to suffer because this platform is still a dominant force.
