I don’t think political types think like marketing types, which has been part of my central thesis. So I don’t know how much testing or even thinking about themes they’ve been doing. Mostly it’s about programs. A political reporter I’ve been trading emails with talked about how the party is frustrated that they don’t have the analytical resources of a big corporation (ha! if only they knew what I know about how big corporations operate).
