There is truth to what you’re saying, but a couple of things are worth keeping in mind. Fake News is a specific thing: the intentional dissemination of falsehood to further an egenda. Blurring that definition, whether it’s you pointing out the lax journalism of big broadcast corporations or the president trying to discredit anything he doesn’t like, dilutes the fight against real fake news. The other is, don’t watch TV news. You could try public radio, their listeners probably think Anna Nicole Smith is still alive.
