Travel alone on your birthday

Adulthood after college has reminded me that I have been lacking self…Self-awareness, let alone, self-esteem…When I was thrown off to the real world, I am standing on the ground alone and did not know what the heck I should do with this self. I quickly found myself reliant on others and I have not been truly living to appease my own happiness and I decided to try something new by doing things alone. I wanted to be more comfortable in novel situations. I started hanging out with more older folks which made me feel less rushed, and appreciate others in the way they are.

In addition to going to meet ups alone, going to social dance party alone, my new goal before this year ends, is to travel alone for this holidays/my birthday/new years eve week. Where would be an ideal destination? It is quite a combination of an excuse to travel plus, unnecessary coordinating with others to celebrate… But when I take the initiatives to be alone, I become true to myself more. I decided to be more courageous. Has anyone traveled alone… on your birthday?
