The Plants vs. Zombies game franchise has been one of my favorites for years now. PvZ & PvZ 2 are have been on all of my IOS devices and have never left since they were first installed. They continue to be great options for burning time when there is simply nothing else to do or I simply want to relax.

If you’re a fan of the Plants vs. Zombies franchise, what are you looking forward to in this next iteration? Post a comment here or hit me up on Twitter!

From the first time I saw Back to the Future, I’ve always thought that time travel would be awesome. In theory, going back to stop my younger self from making stupid decisions sounds like a great idea, but I guess there could be some problems.

The people over at the Glove and Boots YouTube Channel have created the following video to tell us all about the little things that make Time Travel No Good.

In an average day I use a number of applications (laptop, mobile and web) to manage both my personal and work life. Evernote is the only application that helps me manage both.

I’ve been using Evernote for so long that I was very surprised to hear that the company is only five years old. I received an email from the company on June 26th. The note was short and to the point, but the thing that caught my eye was that they were able to tell me what number user I am. …

As of today, I’ve been using iOS 7 for three weeks. I’ve run Developer Preview One and I’m now running Developer Preview Two. What do I think so far? I’m pleasantly surprised and very impressed.

The all new flat design is great. I’m still not sure about some of the icon choices, but for me it is a much needed improvement since the initial design from 2007.

My biggest concern when upgrading to iOS 7 was really around losing my ability to jailbreak my devices. Now that I have been running iOS 7 for a while I can honestly say that I really don’t miss much about having my devices jailbroken. …

Plants vs. Zombies has been one of my favorite games since it originally came out for iOS in 2010. The game has been a staple on my iPhone and iPad since purchasing them and has kept me sane in many a waiting room.

I still love the game and its characters, but it is certainly starting to show its age. I’m super excited to see what PopCap Games has in store for the upcoming sequel.

Toy Story in Real Life (Live Action) is something that I have thought would be cool. Now 18 years after the release of the first movie someone has taken the time to put it together. The film has taken nearly two years (started in 2010) to complete and the director’s have even got permission from Disney and Pixar to release what they have filmed.

So why did I decide to write this post? First, when I saw this video earlier in the week I just knew I wanted to write about it. Second, as I type in the kitchen the pizza in the oven has 10 minutes to go. …

Here’s a list of the hardware and software that help me manage my life. What works for me will not always work for you, but hopefully it will provide a few ideas as to how to create or improve your own.

Hardware

  • iPhone 4S — I’ve had my 4S since it shipped to my house on its first day of availability. Two years later it still does everything I need. I still enjoy using it and can say that it has been my favorite phone by far.
  • iPad 4 w/ Retina Display — Ok, in full disclosure I’ll let you know that this device is actually owned by my employer. While I mostly use it for testing mobile collaboration applications for my day job, I still enjoy browsing the Internet and watching videos from my couch at home. …

It’s been nine days since 2012 came to an end and for me, 2013 is already looking to be busy and fast paced.

I had a pile of things I wanted to accomplish in 2012 and while I did make some good progress, I certainly did not get as much done as I had originally planned.

Before things get too far along I wanted to sit down and do some forward thinking for 2013. I want to look back a year from now and declare 2013 a “Banner Year”.

So what do I plan to work on this year? …

I purchased my first Apple computer in 2006. At the time Apple had just released their new 13″ Black MacBook.

Since then I have purchased a 13″ MacBook Pro for my wife, 16GB & 64GB 1st Generation iPads, a 32GB White iPhone for my wife and a Black 32GB iPhone for myself. My most recent purchase was a 11″ MacBook Air that replaced the 13″ Black MacBook.

I love Apple products. They simply work and I can get things done without having to mess around with them.

Working at Apple on products that I love and recommend highly would be an incredible opportunity. I’m sure this video makes working at Apple look better than it is in reality, but if given the opportunity I would have a hard time turning it down.

Christian Culture always amazes me. I stumbled across this video thanks to ChurchMag yesterday and couldn’t resist posting it. Anyone know where I can watch or get my very own copy?
