Thank you for writing this. It shouldn’t have to be your job, but I appreciate it no less. I hope the White Supremacy discussion can get more traction within the white community and this 200% better requirement can be reduced to equal. I know it’s not, even though all through school we’re told that everyone is equal — I’m sorry it’s not. These are discussions I’m having with my kids, and coming more and more to grips with the fact that I, along with the white community in this country have biases and the only way forward is to recognize that and deal with it. Keep up the hard work, I know you can do it!
