Very true. I’ve often found that I can replay an event in my mind for weeks, but I don’t start moving past it until I really accept what happened and recognize the pain. I’ve also found that when I can do this, I’m better able to reflect on my performance, which makes things more actionable as opposed to clinging to a victim mindset.
