Just. Switch. It. Off.

Excellent thoughts on a very important aspect of creativity and self-improvement in today’s social media landscape. The whole world is right there in front of you, waiting for you to stop that difficult, frustrating work and jump in. You wonder, “With just a couple of clicks I can be reading about ANY subject, from writers across the planet — what is my crappy little thing compared to that? Who am I to NOT take advantage of this miracle machine?”

Six hours later, reading some gossip or political BS, you hate yourself.

It may not be easy to ignore all this, but who told you creating anything of value was going to be easy?
