The Blank Page Problem is a Lack of Structure”

I’m sorry I can’t like this 1000 times.

I’ve written by the ‘seat of my pants’ approach for most of my life, until I noticed the stories that sold were the ones for which I scribbled down a plot outline.

I think it’s a ‘an artist must be FREE to EXPRESS him/herself’ thing. Do you want to write for yourself, or do you want to write for yourself AND put it in a structure that is appealing to others, so you can actually communicate with them?
