Does Violence Against And Objectification Of Women Go “Hand in Hand With Hip Hop?

Yes ! Thank you for pointing out that the objectification of women has not just become a problem but it has been one since the 1980’s in the Hip Hop culture. I can remember growing up watching rap videos with Nelly and Snoop Dogg, having women in tiny clothing prancing around the screen, wondering why in world did they have to do that. Seems like that one issue would’ve evolved into women wanting to respect themselves in music videos, but seems like its never going to change. By the way, I like how you ended your post with a quote. Overall I enjoyed reading your post.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
