As a Kickstarter backer of Anomalisa, as fan of Charlie Kaufman’s writing, as a lover of animation and movies, all I can say is thank you. Your movie was an incredible feat. It is evident in every frame that this was a passionate project, and that feeling came through in every little detail. The hotel room set was like something plucked out of a conference-travelers dream: at once familiar yet surreal. Reading your story was like pulling back another layer of understanding—understanding how difficult the creative process can be and how we are driven to do it anyway. Thank you for sharing this.
