Twenty-Five Greatest Basketball Players of All Time

Since its inaugural season in 1949–50, there have been thousands of NBA players. From Jordan to Kobe, Lebron to Steph, Magic to Larry, take your pick on who you feel is worthy of being in the top 25 discussions. I’ve strategically chosen my top 25 to showcase who I believe is the best of the best. Here are my top 25 NBA players of all time.

25) Dennis Rodman- Dennis was not only a great rebounder, he was one of the best defensive players in NBA history. The guy did all the dirty work. Dennis won a total of five NBA championships, two with the Detroit Pistons and three with the Chicago Bulls. The guy was special. You can’t measure his worth by just looking at a stat sheet.

24) Jason Kidd- The guy is second all-time in assists, fourth all-time in triple-doubles, and top 100 in points. In other words, Jason was a force in the NBA. The guy just flat-out got it done.

23) Dr. J- Julius Erving was smooth, really smooth. He made it look so easy on the court. Julius electrified the crowd with his moves and is part of the reason why the game is so popular today. He’s not talked about enough when it comes to the greats.

22) John Stockton- NBA’s all-time leader in assists and steals. Another guy who isn’t mentioned nearly enough. He would have at least one NBA championship if it wasn’t for…
