High temperatures for the last year
Below is video of the analysis of 24-hour maximum temperatures for each day for our North American region in our SkyWise Insights API. The video covers the time period March 16, 2016 — March 14, 2017.
The detail in the mountains is impressive. The grid is 1 km resolution. You can really see the “atmosphere as a fluid” and the impact the Rocky Mountains have on the movement of the cold air from Canada to the south in various periods during the winter…and the relatively few south intrusions of cold air during the winter months.
