3 Easy Ways To Help You on Your Weight Loss Journey

You didn’t become overweight over night and your not going to lose 30 lbs over night.

Getting that in your head is going to help you in the long run, I promise.

#1 START MOVING MORE

The more you move, the more calories you burn. That’s just science. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy either. Just taking a 15 minute walk once a week will help you burn more calories. Anything is better than nothing. If you consistently take a 15 minute walk once a week you will see weight loss. And like I said, its not going to happen overnight, but if you’re consistent youll see results over time.

#2 TRACK YOUR FOOD INTAKE

Do this just for a day. A normal day. Your typical tuesday, wednesday, monday….whatever day you choose is fine.

You may realize you are eating more than you think. A cookie here, a couple chips there. It starts to add up. I’m not saying those foods are bad (thats a lonnnnng post in itself) but just like everything else you eat, it contains calories and if you’re eating too many calories, you will gain weight.

You dont even have to write it down. Take a picture of everything you eat or just leave a little note on your phone. At the end of the day read/take a look over everything you ate. You may realize that you ate alot more than you should have.

#3 TRACK YOUR BODYWEIGHT

This requires a scale. It can be a cheap one. You don’t even have to track every day. Once a week is fine. I personally have a piece of paper on my wall right in front of my scale to write down my body weight. Try to weigh yourself when you get up and after you use the restroom.

This will help you with the two tips above. It allows you realize whats working and whats not. And remember that results don’t happen overnight.

EXTRA TIP — BE CONSISTENT

This may be the best tip I have. You didn’t become overweight because you ate one too many cookies on saturday night. You became over weight because you did that consistently. The same happens with weight loss. If you consistently go on a 15 minute walk once a week you will see results over time. So make it a habit to be consistent. I promise you will see changes.

Now go kill it ! You got this !
