3 Ways To Get More Protein In Your Diet

If you’re like me you have trouble getting protein in you diet. Its the macro I have the toughest time hitting at the end of the day.

Now I could be obvious and write “Get protein powder” or “Eat more meat” but I have both and I still have trouble getting enough protein haha.

So here’s a few unconventional tips that you may not have thought of.

#1 Buy a Carton of Egg Whites When You Are Buying Eggs

By themselves, egg whites are pretty nasty. I have to drown mine in hot sauce, sriracha, and a bunch of seasonings to enjoy em.

But if you add them with your eggs, you can’t even tell. A good ratio is for every one whole egg you can have a serving or two of egg whites without noticing a difference.

I have since always added egg whites to my eggs in the morning and it has helped tremendously.

#2 Buying Foods with Added Protein

Nowadays, there are actually a lot of foods, foods that you eat everyday, that has a different style (I cant think of a word for it haha) that has more protein in it.


Now these aren’t CRAZY packed with protein but it adds up. I’ve had it add up to almost 30 grams of protein. Thats more than my average protein shake.

#3 Add Grilled Chicken At Restaurants

Most restaurants give you the option to add chicken(or any other meat) to most pasta dishes and salads. It may cost a few extra bucks but the benefits of protein outweigh the cost.
