It does make you look rather silly when wearing them, though I don't think that is the reason they haven't taken off like some had predicted. It is the price and the sheer bulkiness of them I think.

If they ever make screens embedded in sunglass frames then that would make all the difference, but I think that is a long way away if at all possible.
