IoP Community after the split

On June 15 was announced through a statement (here) the birth of the first Digital Cooperative derived from the Fermat project, the IoP Community. The immediate and future plans of the Fermat Project were explained there, however it is now up to us to make known to the world what our immediate actions are.

Consolidate the IoP Community around the goal of achieving a world where people interact socially and commercially in a free way through the network without interference from third parties, without espionage and without censorship. Where transactions between individuals are free from third party commissions. A world where people are more important than corporations and states.

In this Community we will be consolidating each of the internal and external elements, as well as the relationships that must be established between them to have a solid and harmonious growth.

We are reviewing the Governance system to correct its areas of opportunity and considering integrating a Community Council that facilitates the operation and is responsible for the management of the different strategies that derive from the strategic plan.

The network of chapters, a pillar of the IoP Community, will be strengthened so that at least half of the countries of the world will have a presence in this stage, with members who disseminate our values, enrich the community with their own and contribute in the construction Of an Internet at the service of the people.

The programming team is working hard to achieve in a short time significant improvements to components of our architecture and deliver new elements that will be the basis for building future applications person to person through the direct connection between devices. As the the IoP Community maintains and evolve the IoP Infrastructure, the ioP Consortium fully support that activity with further academic researches.

We are looking for new buyers who support the objectives of the Internet of People, establishing in short time new exchanges to market the IoP and creating value through the different actions.

Once the infrastructure is developed, it will be used by entrepreneurs and organizations to develop applications with socially and commercially sustainable business models.

We know that the road presents challenges, but we also know that in the Community we have all the elements to make the Internet of People a reality.
