The case for cross-generational idealism

Very cool post. 2 comments:

  • You speak about generations in some sort of a binary way, where you’re either old and disappointed or young and naive. But then you represent it graphically as linear functions, which leads to my first point: maybe there is a sweet spot in terms of age and energy where someone can be experienced and optimistic enough?
  • The gap bridging and resource transferring, isnt it being done already by some foundations (e.g. Bill & Melinda Gates)? Maybe we just need Govs and society to encourage such structures with (even more) tax incentives, talent attraction, etc.
