You mentioned the word mandate in your responses about three times if I am correct.
It baffles me that you do not consider the representation of the members of the National Assembly as mandate for the people to represent them and check the executives to which they also gave a mandate to as you say ‘fight corruption’.
Another baffling moment was when Cheta said we should forget APC. It appeared as though he still had hope in this government when politicking for 2019 had already begun.
Now to my point, both the executive arm of government and the legislative arm of government have no time to think about the Nigerian people, which is what i thought was the point of Cheta’s piece.
So this is not about a mandate to fight corruption and insist that the man, the ‘only’ man who could fight corruption is Magu and that is why a part of the executive arm decided to retain him despite double rejections from the legislative arm.
Prior to elections, we thought the only man who could fight corruption to a standstill was Buhari. How is it now about Magu?
Oh! I almost forgot about the holiday
Let’s at least pretend to not be distracted. The APC is nothing close to a coalition, talk less of a political party that can deliver the promised CHANGE that Nigerians seek
Peace!
