The need for a Personal Filter in the information age avalanche → 1

I love the idea of this being the Information Management Age and I think we all have lots to learn about how to effectively manage. Your personal filter approach is definitely imperative, but then what do you do with the information you absorb and want to be able to refer to later? I am just going to assume that you were slyly alluding to this problem with “An article I read (sorry, can’t find the link)…” True information management will also have to adopt organizational (folders) or classification (tags) habits so that you can refer to that information you once absorbed and maybe even share it with others. (Okay, now we’re also talking Curation…)

Anyway, I loved this thought-provoking piece and am looking forward to more!
