Dear Hawkins — I cannot express how much I appreciate your positive educated opinion. And I don’t know if you have read my past posts and responses, but I will share once again one of my favorite quotes, from Jack Kerouac —
“In prose you make the paragraph. Every paragraph is a poem.”
And another favorite, to which I cling, from Robert Graves —
“No poem is worth anything unless it starts from a poetic trance, out of which you can be wakened by interruption as from a dream. In fact, it is the same thing.”
